During the online booking process, customers are typically shown a “reminder” pop-up that has some helpful information about things they need to remember to prepare for the reservation. We call this the “Reminder Modal”. When this toggle is turned on, that pop-up will display to online customers and you have the ability to customize the content as you see fit in the text editor below this toggle.
However, some activities simply may not need a reminder modal (bowling) and you can turn this step off if you choose.
Some common examples of reminder modal content is below:
- Don't forget, all throwers are required to wear closed toed shoes in order to participate
- Please be sure that all members of your party arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of time for check-in and training
- Our facility does not allow personal axes to be used outside of league nights
- Cancellations within 48 hours of your reservation time will be refunded by issuing a gift card
- Reservations will begin at the scheduled start time even if your entire party is not present
- And so on….
This Reminder Modal content is set to be the default content for all reminders but it can also be overriden in the advanced package settings. This is quite useful for league packages or special event packages that have very specific details that you want to be sure to show every customer when they book online.
For example, let's say that you want to customize the Reminder content for your upcoming axe throwing league. Instead of telling league members that they are expected wear closed toed shoes (which surely they already know), you can update the content to let them know that all axes used during league must be inspected by the league commissioner and meet certain specifications.
