Start Times - Custom Open Hours

When needed, you can customize the daily available start times on a package by package basis.  A good example of this would be for a daily happy hour special during restricted times of day.  For example, you might create a new package to accommodate this happy hour special for Monday through Thursday and also restrict the availability from 4pm - 7pm.

In order to allow custom open hours to be used outside of the venues standard operating hours (Days and Times) be sure to also toggle on the “Override ALL hours on the Location and/or Resource?” option.  As a general rule of thumb, there is no harm in selecting this option by default when the Custom Open Hours option is being used.

To do this, simply select the Custom Open Hours option and then select the “Add Time” button at the top of the new section.  You can create as many custom hours as needed to accommodate the goals of the package.  The example above would look like the following screenshot.

A slightly more complicated scenario might include a break during the middle of the day for an indoor golf simulator facility where customers are given discounted pricing early in the morning and then in early afternoon during potential slow times of day.  In this case, the admin would add a second Custom Open Hour for the same days of the week but with different time ranges like the following screen shot.
