Custom Peak Hours are completely optional but allow you to set times of day for each day of the week when higher pricing per person or per group will be charged during your peak days and times (pricing is set at the package level). The Custom Peak Hours setting at the Resource Type level allows you to set the peak hours per Resource Type as opposed to a single peak hours setting for the entire facility.
Depending on your venue's operations, you may have multiple Resource Types (activities) and they may have differing peak hours depending on the activity. For example, if your Venue combines Axe Throwing and Indoor Golf Simulators, you might find that your golf simulator bays have peak hours early in the morning and the axe throwing targets have peak hours during the evening. In this case, you may want to charge more during those hours but also in this case, those are *different times of day. The Custom Peak Hours settings found here allow you to do that.
You could also use the Peak Pricing hours to set your prices *lower during slow days and times. For example, if your venue is slow on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, you could set the open and close Peak Hours to match the Standard hours and offer 10% reduced prices all day on those days of the week.
