Sales Dashboard

All totals displayed in the charts reference the date range and other settings selected in the filters at the top of the page.

Total Collected / Outstanding Revenue

• Total Collected Revenue includes:
  • Payment Methods - Credit/Debit, Cash, Check. (Does NOT include gift card *redemption totals as this is not new revenue)
  • All payments made towards reservations - Including payments/deposits made for reservations that are outside of the date range selected.  For example if the date range selected is "This week" and during this time frame a deposit has been made for a reservation scheduled for Next Week (which is not part of the date range selected), this payment will be included in the Total Collected Revenue displayed on this chart because the payment was made within the selected date range.
  • POS purchases
  • Gift Card purchases
  • If the date range selected is entirely in the future (ex. Next Week) this total will always display $0.00 collected because no revenue has been Collected during "Next Week" yet.
• Total Outstanding Revenue includes:
  • Remaining balance for ALL reservations that have reservation dates occurring during the date range selected.
  • This does include cancelled reservations.  By including the total remaining balance for cancelled reservations, admins can view insights into information that would otherwise be lost if not included.  For example, if you notice that the Total Remaining Balance is higher than expected, it can prompt you to review the Daily Manifest report for the same date range to investigate the reasons why.  If you would like to exclude remaining balances for cancelled reservations from these charts, you can apply manager discounts to cancelled reservations to reduce the remaining balance to zero if desired.
  • If the date range selected is entirely in the future (ex. Next Week) this chart will display the appropriate remaining balance to be collected for reservations where the reservation date falls within the selected date range. 

Total Reservation Sales by Created Date

• This chart shows the total revenue that you expect to collect for reservations that have been created during the date range selected.  This chart DOES NOT display collected revenue but rather the total expected revenue you should eventually collect (Sales).
  • For example, when a reservation is booked by an online customer via your website and they pay a 50% deposit to secure the reservation, this chart will display 100% of the reservation total (not the 50% collected revenue or the 50% remaining balance) if it was created during the selected date range.
  • This also means that if a reservation is created as an admin and NO deposit is collected, the chart will still display 100% of the reservation total.  Creating the reservation (whether by you or an online customer) is still considered a Sale in RKd even though there may be less than the total Revenue collected at the time of of viewing the data.
• If the date range selected is entirely in the future (ex. Next Week) this chart will always display $0.00 because no reservations have been created during "Next Week" yet.

Total Reservation Sales by Reservation Date

• This chart shows the total revenue that you expect to collect for reservations occurring (Reservation date) within the selected date range.  This chart DOES NOT display collected revenue but rather the total expected revenue you should eventually collect (Sales).
  • For example, if a reservation has only paid a 50% deposit to secure the reservation, this chart will display 100% of the reservation total (not the 50% collected revenue or the 50% remaining balance) if the reservation date falls within the selected date range.
  • This also means that if a reservation created as an admin has 0% of the reservation paid, the chart will still display 100% of the reservation total if the reservation date falls within the selected date range.  Creating the reservation (whether by you or an online customer) is still considered a Sale in RKd even though there may be no Revenue collected yet.
• If the date range selected is entirely in the future (ex. Next Week) this chart will display the total expected revenue (Sales) of the reservations scheduled during that date range.
