Tablet Install & Setup

1. Download the tablet app APK file onto a USB thumb drive that has the appropriate ports (likely USB-C) to plug into the tablet

        a. Alternatively, you can log into google drive on the tablet to open the shared folder and download the app file from the folder. Please remember to logout of your google account before providing the tablet to customers.

2. Select the tablet app file and give the tablet permission to download

3. Once the app is downloaded, you can sign out of the google drive account if you used this method to download.

4. Open the app from the list of apps (When the app loads, it will have generic RKd Solutions branding)

5. Select the RKd Solutions logo in the bottom right corner of the screen.

6. Type in "999" into the pop-up employee code

7. Set the location id and lane number and select close (The lane number will depend on which lane the tv is mounted in)

        i. Location ID can be found in the locations page while logged in.

8. After closing the location and lane assignment pop-up, the app will refresh to display your branding.

a. When setting the lane number, we suggest putting a small piece of tape on the back of the tablets and mark the lane number on it to make sure you don't have to keep changing the lane assignment on the app (if the tablets are removed from the stands for overnight charging). The lane assignment will "stick" once it's entered for the first time on each tablet.
