Manager Discounts

Manager Discounts in RKd are pre-set discount amounts, created by a Company Admin, that allow users with a manager code to apply discounts to an entire reservation after is has been created.  While Manager Discounts can be created as a percentage discount or as a specific dollar amount off a reservation, the overwhelming majority are created as percentage discounts.  When creating a new Manager Discount, we highly recommend including the discount amount as a part of the custom name given to the discount.

It is important to keep in mind that Manager Discounts are intended to apply to the entire reservation balance by default and not an individual customer or Customer Type.  If you would like to create discounts or offer discounted prices for a particular type of customer, like a Student Discount or a First Responder Discount, this can be accomplished by using the Customer Type features of the platform.
