Override Location Days of The Week

By default, all packages will use the schedule set in your location settings and/or the resource type settings.  These default days of the week can be overridden when needed for special circumstances.  A few examples below:

Promotional Packages - Restricting days of the week

In order to encourage visitors on slower days of the week (Lets say Monday through Thursday) you might want to create a “Week Day Special” package with discounted pricing that is only available to book Monday through Thursday.  If your facility is normally open 7 days a week then you would need to use this option to deselect Friday, Saturday & Sunday so that the special pricing of this package can only be used to make reservations for Monday through Thursday.

Another example would be if you want to create a special for a single day of the week (Lets say Ladies Night discounts on Wednesdays).  In this case you would turn on the toggle and simply choose ONLY Wednesday as the available day of the week for this package and the setting would ensure that your Ladies Night special is only able to booked on Wednesdays.

Full Facility Rentals - Broadening days of the week

For venues that are not open 7 days a week, there might be situations where you want to create a package for Full Facility Rentals that allow for reservations on days that you would otherwise be closed.  In this case you would select the Override toggle and choose the additional days you would like the package to be available.  

Keep in mind that the package does not need to be made available to the public in order to give you and your staff the ability to make reservations on days you are closed.  If this package IS available to the public, we highly recommend setting a Minimum Lead time (maybe 72 hours/3 days in advance) so that you have time to ensure the venue can be staffed appropriately if a reservation for a full facility rental is made on a day you would typically be closed.
