Term Lengths & Prices

Membership Term Lengths and Prices have several different options for how you can set up the price of your memberships.  Venues can choose to add one or multiple Term Lengths and Pricing setting but please be sure to only create 1 membership term for 1 duration option.

Term Length - Options include 1 month, 3 months, 6 months and 1 year.  This option indicates the cadence of recurring billing and for what duration a single payment will provide monthly membership benefits to the Member.  Even though membership terms may be longer than 1 month, ALL membership Allowance Hours will reset on a monthly basis.  For example, a 3 month membership term will only bill the customer once in a 3 month period but their Membership Allowance Hours will reset 3 times during the duration (once per month).

Recurring Price - This is the subtotal that the customer will be charged on a recurring basis as indicated by the Term Length selection.  Recurring billing will occur on the same day of the month as the date of the purchase.  For example, if a 1 month auto-renewing membership is purchased on January 7th, the recurring billing will take place on February 7th as will the reset of the members Membership Hours Allowance.  If a 3 month auto-renewing membership is purchased on January 7th, the recurring billing for this member will take place on April 7th.

One Time Fee - This option is entirely optional and the fee collected will go directly to the venue.  This fee will only be charged once, upon the initial purchase of the membership and is intended to cover things like, admin fees, equipment fees, registration fees, etc.  

Fee Description - Short description of the fee that will be presented to the online customer at the time of purchase, in confirmation/receipt emails and in the billing history section of the members online portal.  We recommend keeping this description short and sweet (admin fees, equipment fees, registration fees)

Membership Term Description - This description will be displayed to the customer during the online purchase process and is intended to be no more than one or two sentences long.  Examples include:

• Monthly Recurring Basic Membership Package = 25% off regular rates!
• 3 Month Recurring Basic Membership Package = 33% off regular rates!
• Act not and save your spot in our upcoming summer membership special!  This discount won't last long!
