How to Setup My New Credit Card Terminal

Set up out of the box

1. Unbox your new credit card terminal and plug in to a power outlet using the provided charging cable.
2. Hold the power button down for a few seconds until the terminal turns on (right side of the device)
3. The terminal will power up and display an Adyen Logo
4. After a short period of starting up, the Welcome screen will display prompting a language selection
5. English is the default selection, tap on the blue arrow in the bottom right hand corner of the screen
6. Next, connect the device to your venues wifi network by selecting the blue plus button in the bottom right hand corner of the "Setup Wifi screen"
7. Toggle on the "Use wifi" toggle at the top of the screen.
8. Your device will then display a list of available wifi networks, select the appropriate network
9. Enter the wifi network password as directed
10. The wifi network status should now say "Connected" underneath the selected wifi network
11. Select the back button at the bottom of the screen (left facing triangle)
12. The device will update to an RKd solutions screen while it updates automatically
13. This process may take 10-15 minutes and several rounds of updates while it turns off and back on automatically
14. The screen will display the message "software update downloading in the background"
15. After the updates are complete, the message will go away and you are now ready to process transactions using your new Credit Card Terminal
