Once the RKd Advanced POS has been set to either In-Transition or Enabled in the location settings, you will be able to set a POS pin for all users in your company. You will not be able to sign in to a POS terminal until you have done so.
- In the left navigation, select "Users" and then identify the user you want to create a pin for
- Select "edit" for that user
- Set a 4 digit Screen Lock PIN
- Be sure to provide location access to at least 1 location or multiple if needed. Company Admins are assigned to ALL locations by default
- Assign the users PIN to 1 or multiple locations.
- The last 2 steps are slightly different. One staff member may need admin access to a location but NOT POS access. A front desk host for example, may only need access to managing the reservation calendar but not have access to a POS terminal for Food & Beverage service and management.
