Some RKd clients may already be operating their venue with the RKd reservation platform but have not yet turned on the RKd Advanced POS. For example, some clients may choose to start with only a few features of the RKd platform and then turn on larger features of the platform like Advanced POS when they are ready.
In this case, "In-Transition" mode, allows venues to continue operating in the same manner as if Advanced POS was turned off while also beginning the set up process to ensure a successful roll-out of Advanced POS.
For example, once Advanced POS is fully enabled, the Basic POS (for simple items like Merch and concessions) that you may be used to, will no longer be available and those transaction will be expected to happen via the Advanced POS instead.
Additionally, while in transition mode, your RKd representative will have the ability to upload a "starter menu" that will help you to visualize and understand the Menu Management portion of the Advanced POS platform. This is not available once Advanced POS has been fully enabled.
