Location Name

The Location Name is the most commonly used reference to the name of your business in online purchasing situations and automated email communications.  We recommend that the Location Name includes the Business name and city name or sub-market especially for businesses with multiple locations.  For example, if the Company Name is RKd Solutions and one of their locations is located in Columbus, Ohio, you might consider naming the Location, "RKd Solutions - Columbus".  This is of course not a requirement but does serve as a good positive reinforcement for your customers that they have chosen the correct location when making online reservation as well as when in communication with venue staff.

Reservation Prefix

The Reservation Prefix is a 3 character Prefix (Letters, numbers or both) that will start ALL of your venues reservation numbers.  In large part, the public will likely not have any knowledge of its use but internally it serves several purposes.

First, the prefix clearly differentiates reservation numbers between your locations if you operate  multiple locations(or plan to in the future).  For example, if you have a venue in Texas and a venue in Arizona, you might assign prefixes of TEX and ARZ.  Internally you will know immediately which location a reservation number is referring to.

Secondly, the prefix clearly identifies the location in question when communicating with your customers.  It is very common during phone calls and email for customer to include the reservation number as a point of reference but the public is generally pretty bad at including ALL of the details needed.  As soon as you see the reservation number with the prefix, you'll know which location needs to handle the situation (and if they've contacted the wrong business entirely!).

Website

The website url entered here should be Location specific especially for businesses with multiple locations.  For businesses with a single location, input the main website landing page.

Reservations Page Link

The url entered here should be the page of your website that contains the “Book Now” buttons.  This is often the same page as the url above, however, some businesses do have an additional, separate reservations page with more than one Book Now button depending on website layout.  This url is used in abandoned cart emails to direct the customer directly back to the reservations page after selecting the “Complete my reservation” button in the emails.

Contact Page Link

The url entered here should be the page of your website that has information about how to contact you directly (phone and email) and possibly also contain a contact form.  This link/url is used throughout the RKd platform whenever a “contact us” button is presented to your customers by our platform.
