Hours Tab - Special Hours

The Special Hours form, located at the Location level, allows for a wide variety of single date schedule changes that will apply to ALL Resource Types (Activities) and override the Standard Operating Hours set in the Standard Operating Hours section of the location settings.

For example, Special Hours can be used to close your facility on holidays that the facility would otherwise be open (or for any other reason).  Simply enter the date, keep the “Location Closed?" toggle turned on, add a note as a reminder for why this day is closed and lastly, select the “Add Date” button.  That's it!  Don't forget to hit save and close when you are done adding dates.

Additionally, the special hours can be used to open your venue on day that it would otherwise be closed based on your Standard Operating Hours.  Maybe instead of closing for a holiday, you want to open for the holiday.  In this case, you'll uncheck the “Location Closed?” toggle, enter the open and close hours for the day and select “Add Date”.

Lastly, Special Hours can be used to change the open and close hours on a day that you are already scheduled to be open for.  Let's say that your normal Monday hours are from 4pm to 11pm but you'd like to open earlier and close earlier on Labor Day this year.  In this case, you'd select the date, uncheck the “Location Closed?” toggle, set the open hour to 12pm Noon and the close hour to 8pm (for example), add a note something like “Labor Day Adjusted Hours” to the note field, and then hit save!

After adding the new Special Hour, the Date will be added to the running list below the form and you can always remove the Special Hour if needed.
