Start Time Increments

By default, packages have available start times beginning every 15 minutes (this is by far the most common usage) and this setting allows users to increase that duration if needed. For example, you might increase the Start Time Increment from 15 to 30 minutes and your start times would change from 1:00pm, 1:15pm, 1:45pm, 2:00pm, etc… to 1:00pm, 1:30pm, 2:00pm, 2:30pm and so on.

Start Time Increments are increased most commonly to account for staff availability depending on the activity being reserved.  If your activity requires that staff stay with a reservation longer than 15 minutes for training or otherwise, you may want to consider increasing the Start Time Increment to 30 minutes or more.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • Start time increments begin when the venue opens each day.  For example, if you set the start time increment to 45 minutes and the venue opens at 1pm, the next available start time will be at 1:45pm.  If the Start Time Increment is set to 45 minutes and the venue opens at 1:30pm, the next available start time will be at 2:15pm.
  • Reservation durations can not be shorter than the Start Time Increment.  If your start time Increment is set to 60 minutes, reservation durations MUST be for 60 minutes or longer.
