Package Resource Selection

In this section, you will choose which of your resources are available for this package to book on.  It is of course quite common for all resources to be selected for standard packages but there are situations where you might want a package to have a limited selection of resources.  For example:

Specialty Resources

Some venues have resources at their facility that are non-standard and they create separate packages with limited resource selections for these situations.

  • Party Room / Private Room rentals
  • VIP Bays/Targets/Rooms
  • Differences between resources like
    • Projected Targets / Traditional Targets
    • Activity type differences (Axe throwing targets vs golf simulators vs archery ranges)
    • Occupancy differences between resources

Intentionally Limiting Resources

In some cases you may want to intentionally limit the number of resources available for a promotion you are running.  For example, you could create a new package to run a promotion for 25% off of reservations and set that package up to only allow reservations on half of your venues resources.  This would limit the number of discounted reservations allowed to make a reservation at any one time while also keeping the rest of the venues resources available for full priced reservations.

Special Events & Leagues

League nights are another great example of using the resource selection to limit the resources used for a reservation.  You could set up your league package to only use half of your venue for league nights while the other half is available for regular online and walk-in reservations.
