POS Item discounts are preset discount amounts that you and your staff can use to discount the price of POS Items. The list of Item Discounts is managed from the admin/calendar side of the software for users that have appropriate permissions.
Where to find the Item Discount List.
From the left nav:
- Select "Point of Sale"
- Select "Admin Setup"
- Select "Item Discounts"
How To create a new Item Discount:
- Select the "New Item Discount" button in the top right corner of the page
- Name the New Discount
- Give a quick description if you would like
- Select the Amount Type (Percentage discount or dollar amount)
- Add the appropriate amount
- Save & Close
How To Delete an Item Discount
- Select "Delete" on the right side of the screen associated with the discount you would like to remove
